Dear Readers,
Y’all know how much I endorse creativity and the magic that happens when you tap into the creative space in your head & heart. I believe one doesn’t have to necessarily make a profession out of their creative inclination but spending time feeding that creative wolf in your soul can bring you closer to your authentic self!
This blog post is a paradise for photography enthusiasts & features one such creative soul who’s gone all guns blazing with some stunning shots. If they don’t make your jaw drop, I don’t know what will !

Get to know Ankit (the man behind these incredible shots) better.
What do you do for a living and what got you into photography?
I work as a business development manager for OYO rooms in Ladakh.
My dad got me a Kodak back in 2009 when we were on a Bangalore tour. Smartphones were not so popular those days, so having a camera on a tour was a necessity. I kept on clicking photos and to be honest I never realized I when photography became my passion.
What does photography mean to you?
There is a difference between passion and hobby. Look for that difference, you will get to know what photography is for me. It is not a hobby
Do you edit your pictures? If yes, then share some tips?
Yes, I use Adobe Lightroom for all my smartphone photography.
I usually like to set a vibrant mood in my photos. I am red-green colorblind, this might be an explanation to why I like my photos to be colorful and vibrant.
Who’s work do you draw inspiration from?
I follow and admire a lot of wonderful photographers online. I admire a lot of them, but I choose to follow what I like the best.
Advice for photography enthusiasts?
Well…I would say just try to create a story. Focus on your framing, keep clicking till your heart agrees that you have taken the best photo.
According to you, which is the most scenic place in the world for a photography enthusiast?
Definitely Kashmir and Ladakh are the most beautiful places to capture on camera.
Where would you like to travel next if photography is on your mind?
Srinagar and Ooty.
Things people don’t know about the art of photography?
The more you learn, the more is there to explore.
The best picture you think you’ve ever taken and why?
I think this to be the best because of the amount of hard work that went into this. Tracking a deer is not easy.
