The book I swear by!

But first, FYI

If you’re looking for a super healthy breakfast or pre-workout meal smoothie option then, DRINK I is your best bet.

If you wish to boost your immunity and / or initiate healing in your body due to a dis-ease, then DRINK II is a miracle for you.

If you wish to be beauty with brains meaning, reverse aging and get the kinda skin that needs no make-up plus a sharp & efficiently functioning brain then, DRINK III should be your poison of choice.

If you have issues like body heat, acidity, constipation or bloating, first scroll over to DRINK IV, please!

So without further ado, let’s crack on with the recipes…

When to have a smoothie-

The one thing I want you all to know is that smoothie aka raw food drink is as good as a meal. It’s heavy & quite satiating so please have it either as a meal or in-between on an empty stomach.

Knowledge is strength-

Bananas will give you the sweet yummy flavor along with lots of calcium & fiber. Strawberries on the other hand are loaded with anti-oxidants that will fight free radicals in your body thus gifting you with a glowing skin & stronger immunity.

Pumpkin & sunflower seeds are packed with B complex vitamins, iron & calcium along with fiber that your body is craving for most of the times.

Cacao nibs are the most important ingredient because it’s probably one of the most healthiest things to consume. It’s full of antioxidants and immunity boosting messengers and this is not even the best part!

Cacao nibs is what will give your smoothie that chocolate-y flavor. It is raw chocolate (by the way) which means it’s bitter AF so please don’t get excited and consume it directly. It makes for the best smoothie ingredient! 😉

It’s imperative for you to know why this smoothie is super duper healthy.

Each & every single ingredient will nourish every cell of your body in the most divine way possible.

Hope you love it!

Happy Slurrping!

II) Turmeric & Black Pepper Tea

  1. Fresh Turmeric to be grated & added to boiling hot water (quantity can vary from person to person, start small)
  2. 2. 1 pinch black pepper
  3. 3. 2-3 tulsi leaves (optional)
  4. Freshly grated ginger (optional)…and sip away to glory!

The Maven Lifestyle by Aakansha

Benefits of this wonder drink-

This tea is going to help you release weight whilst boosting your immunity to a point where you’d forget what it means to fall sick. It’s going to do wonders for your throat and initiate + accelerate any healing process your body is in need of.

Turmeric has an anti-inflammatory effect on your body which means no heart disease or blood pressure problem will trouble you. It’s also known to fight against cancer cells & Alzheimer causing pathogens.

Wondering how?

Well, turmeric does everything to empower your Immune System which you conveniently take for granted by popping all the antibiotics.

Black pepper is added to this drink so that turmeric gets absorbed in your body better.

Please make sure you have this wonder drink at least once everyday.

Tulsi on the other hand is an excellent source of Vitamin K and helps the Respiratory System function at its’ best efficiency. It’s known to kick acne’s butt (hehe) and fight against cancer cells too. It’s a superfood and can only be plucked during the day for religious reasons of course. 🙂

Ginger is a good option to add if you’re unwell or experience nausea often. It also reduces both muscle pain & soreness other than helping with digestion if this drink is consumed 45 minutes after your meal.

P.S…The turmeric has to be fresh! The reason doctors will not talk about or promote this drink is because it might come in the way of their profit margins. DO NOT underestimate the power of this drink.

III) Berry Wonder

1. 4 chunky Strawberries

2. A handful of blueberries

3. A handful of rasberries

4. 1 Banana (optional) or a handful of grapes (optional)

5. 2 tsp flax seed powder

TO NOTE: no added sugar

Source & Power-

If you have access to organic berries, then this drink is something I’d very very very strongly recommend because you have no flying clue how young & healthy berries can make you feel in less than 1 month. They are a powerhouse of antioxidants and immunity boosting friendly agents that will heal every cell of your body.

Banana or grapes are to be added if you want your smoothie to be sweet. If you can forget about the sweetness and bask in the glory of the sour-sweet berries then, awesome!

And, as far as the flax seeds are concerned, they are jam packed with the kind of fats every cell of your body begs for! Omega 3 fatty acids. Flax is 10 times richer in healthy fats when compared to both walnuts & fish. In fact, fish should be avoided because of the ALARMING mercury levels in the water bodies of this planet.

If a mommy-to-be cosumes fish (or any other seafood) for even one meal during her pregnancy, chances of her baby having a brain disorder goes up by 70%.

Willing to take this risk with yourself now?

IV) Sweet Basil in water

Simply soak a teaspoon of sabja (sweet basil) seeds in water for 10-12 minutes & CHUG CHUG CHUG.

The Maven Lifestyle by Aakansha

Benefits to be grateful for-

Honestly, I don’t know how to even begin telling you the benefits of these seeds.

Firstly, they are a blessing for my fellow hoomans who are always cribbing about constipation & bloating.

{I used to be bloated all the time and thanks to sabja, I’ve kinda forgotten what bloating is now!}

It treats acidity and consequent heartburn, cures that annoying chest hurting cough, adds weight to your stool, thanks to it’s fiber content and so much more.

This drink is a miracle for people who are known to have excessive body heat. Sabja when soaked in water & chugged with a positive mindset will regulate both body temperature & blood sugar levels.
