Hello my lovely readers,
This is yet again a very heartfelt collaboration with a beautiful soul who finds therapy & peace in NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY.
With this blog post, my intention is to AWAKEN & NUDGE every single one of you to CHASE your HOBBY, your PASSION and morever your CURIOSITY.
Your curiosity is what will lead you to your ONE TRUE CALLING meaning your soul’s key purpose which is your life’s mission!!!
I am a firm believer that all of us have taken birth in this reality to
> make a positive difference on this planet,
> to touch lives,
> to become self-aware,
> to learn & master a plethora of virtues,
> to experience life and most of all,
> to grow as a soul!
One of the easiest ways you can do this is by INDULGING in any form of creative expression. This could be
doodling, sketching, painting, writing,
poetry, stitching, knitting, singing,
playing guitar, or any other musical instrument,
arts & craft, dance, photography, film making, etc.
The list is endless and so are your options.
You don’t necessarily have to make your hobby your career but you certainly can make it your biggest & most favourite recreation ‘cos let’s get old school for a minute here-
All work & no play makes Jack a dull boy.
In today’s digital age, let’s go back to unwinding the creative way.
This blog comes to you with some jaw-dropping photographs taken by Swati Mishra who is proud to call photography her hobby & therapy!
Love & Light,
A

Swati Mishra Q&A
Aakansha: What got Swati into photography?
Swati: I have always been inclined to art. Capturing moments & memories has always been my core intention. Photography is therapy for me and everytime I make some one happy by capturing and sharing a snippet with them, it gives ME a lot of happiness. It’s my way of giving back to the society.
Aakansha: WHY does Swati resonate with photgraphy?
Swati: Like I mentioned earlier, I have always been inclined to art and another thing is that…
I LOVE NATURE; being around / in nature just calms me down!
Aakansha: Tell us about your favourite picture.
Swati: This is my favorite photo that I have clicked till date. There are several reasons why it’s my favorite,
one of it being, it’s a macro shot,
secondly it highlights the intricate details of a beautiful flower. I believe that there’s a lot of beauty in details
and most importantly
this picture reminds of a memorable trip to Acadia National park. This place was hidden away from the park in a secluded rose garden.
Aakansha: Swati, what is your take on photography as a recreation?
Swati: My take on photography as a hobby or any thing would be – give it your 100% & just do it passionately.
It could be anything, if you don’t love it, it’s going to show. If you love it, your work or outcome would show.
Sometimes it comes after a lot of practice sometimes it flows through naturally.
Aakansha: Swati, do you have any advice for your fellow photography enthusiasts?
Swati: Be patient, it takes a lot of practice and patience to capture a perfect moment / picture. Such is life, we need lot of patience to get through highs & lows since it’s all about the JOURNEY not the destination …
