Miracles happen when you have faith peppered with oodles of positivity alongside some steely determination!
I’ve always been this hopeless romantic seeking the love of my life and after years of hoping, praying, believing and not to forget ‘working on myself’, I found him – my twin soul, my habibi.
I do realise that it’s a tad bit cheesy to go on and on about how lover struck I am but trust me, it’s not about that.
This post is dedicated to all the girls out there who are waiting for their Chuck Bass/ Romeo/ Lover Buoy to gravitate into their life; this post is for all the single people out there who like showing how they despise anything & everything to do with #couplegoals but secretly yearn for that special someone to cuddle with.
Last but not really the least, this one’s for all the individuals out there who are about to give up on the idea of
Folks, all I can say is – don’t lose hope just yet. Infact, respect the divine timing.
I believe I have mentioned reading ‘The Soulmate Secret’ by Arielle Ford quite a few times on the blog and I couldn’t thank God enough for bringing that book my way.
The aforementioned book taught me to respect divine timing, it taught me that we don’t meet our soulmate unless and until – we are “ready”, he/she is “ready” and the divine timing has arrived. Now “ready” is all about being in the divine spiritual, mental and emotional state. This book taught me that the way I shape myself will play a humongous role in how fast I attract my partner. This book successfully convinced me that we only attract who we are.
I genuinely feel that only after making inexpungable effort in shaping myself to overcome my insecurities and fears, I was able to attract a beautiful soul like R (Rajeev, my fiancé) yeah, he is going to making multiple appearances in The Maven Lifestyle now .
The calmness he has brought in my life cannot be described in words. Now, I know what people meant when they said it feels just right when the #mainbae comes along.
“The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you; not knowing how blind that was.
Lovers don’t meet somewhere, they are in each other all along. “
I always smiled when I read this before I met R… but AFTER I met him, I could FEEL every word of this quote and tear up almost every single time I think about it.
True lovers will barely have to justify themselves, impress one another, run after each other… simply because when the time is right and the souls are ready, everything falls into place. Infact, no matter how much people around them try to tear them apart, they end up getting closer and closer.
Law of Attraction
I would very strongly recommend this to one and all. Years ago (when I was about 17) I made affirmations that had everything to do with the kind of man (and family) I wanted in my life. I believed each word I uttered, ’cause as a 17 year old, nothing seemed impossible. I still remember my mother (who I narrated my affirmations to ) laughing at me and trying to be all preachy about how I can’t expect so many qualities out of one man and how mustn’t be too picky…
Well Mom, I am glad I knew precisely what I wanted at the age of 17.
Just in case, you don’t have your template ready, now’s the time to work on one…
