Hello my Dear Readers,
Thank You for showing up on my space on the internet, I really appreciate your loyalty.
In the past couple of months, I must’ve easily had 20+ people message me to know about things to do in Dubai, U.A.E and NOW since I’m a permanent cookie here, I thought why not collaborate a list of fantastic things to explore here.
Please know that I may not have experienced every single place on this list but be rest assured that everything mentioned below is something that will make you want to visit Dubai (U.A.E) over & over again.
So without further ado, let’s crack on!
For the sake of better readability, I’ve categorized my recommendations in the following sections-
->Touristy Attractions to go gagas over
->Adventure
->Photographers Paradise
->Shopping
->Restaurants
->Lounge
->Clubbing
->Instagram-able Cafes
Touristy Attractions to go gagas over
Every single person staying in Dubai will admit that he/she hasn’t visited every single attraction simply because there are way too many.
This city has left no stone unturned to entertain hoomans and I can vouch for it 100% . Having just moved to this city, I can’t even express how grateful I am every single day. What I love the most is that this city has something for everyone. If you’re a spiritual pioneer or a fitness fanatic or an athlete or an artist or a food enthusiast… this city won’t fail to surprise you!
If you’re into nature and adore greenery, if beautiful flowers fill your heart with compassion & gratitude, then Miracle Garden is a place that you probably would never want to leave. Speaking of nature, if you’re a beach bum, then Kite Beach is going to give you an experience to remember. There’s a ton of beachy stuff you can do at Kite Beach like kite surfing, wake boarding, scuba diving, paddle boarding so on & so forth.
If nature doesn’t excite you but heights & views do, then views from Burj Khalifa will make you want to take a step back by soaking all the architecture of Dubai in! Dubai Frame takes you 150 metres high up offering panoramic view of both old & new parts of this gorgeous city. If you’re a sucker for views then you much check these places out!
Water babies, ALERT! Aqua Venture in Atlantis (hotel) at Palm Jumeirah is a waterpark that happens to be really popular among all tourists.
Global Village & the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Mosque are for major culture enthusiasts. The former (Global Village) is an entertainment project that holds attractions from over 90 countries and the latter (mosque) is … going to make your heart skip a beat (to put it simply).
Car fanatics would be jumping if they found out what Dubai has- Autodrome & YAS Marina track where Formula 1 races take place. Keep scrolling further…

Adventure
If you’re an adrenaline junkie like me, then you’d not want to return from Dubai without giving these a go.
If Skydiving has been on your bucket list, then strike it off by giving it a go in Dubai. It’s not just the coolest location to skydive but also the safest. Mind your body weight though, even a gram over 100 kilos and you won’t be entertained!
Zip Lining at RAK is the longest in the world where in you zip line twice (in a sleeping + sitting posture); feel free to change my name if while doing this your heart doesn’t come in your mouth! However, if like the idea of zip lining sans the scary bit, then Zip Lining at Dubai Marina should be your preference; the view is to die for, trust me!!! Adrenaline junkies should go for Zip Lining at RAK & View Enthusiasts must try Zip Lining at Dubai Marina!
Roller Coaster & Scary Ride lovers must most certainly visit IMG & Ferrari World. Folks, some the rides in these places will misplace your organs- yep, that’s how trippy they are!
If you’re cuckoo-cuckoo about cars (just like my beloved husband), then Dubai Autodrome is the spot you should visit first. It’s an FIA sanctioned 6 km motorsport circuit where you can drive & drift a plethora of cars such as Ferrari GT, McLaren Sprint, Porsche GT4 & so many more! Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi can provide a similar experience as well.
If none of the above got you all excited ‘cos you were expecting nature to surprise you with its beauty, then you must make room for Hatta (2 hour drive from Dubai) in your itinerary. Hatta would give you a chance to experience hiking, kayaking, mountain biking & camping. OH, and if you’re a fan of biking and happen to be in Dubai, then quad biking will give the REAL DUBAI FEELS !!!

ii) Zip Lining at RAK

World’s Longest Zip Line.

World’s Longest Zip Line.

iii) Zip Lining at Dubai Marina

This is the shortest zip lining ride ever but it’s sought after just for the views! I mean, I’m not surprised at all, are you?
iv) Quad Biking

v) IMG World

I’m a total roller coaster freak and the rides at IMG world knocked the wind out my sails so please enter this area at your own risk.
vi) Ferrari World

vii) Autodrome

viii) Yas Marina

ix) Atlantis Aqua Venture Park

x) Hiking, Kayaking, Mountain Biking & Camping in Hatta

I didn’t think I would be the kayaking type but things have changed now.

xi) Kite Beach offers a plethora of water supports.

Photographers Paradise
It’s undeniably obvious that Dubai is an absolute paradise for photographers & Instagram Models.
Since Dubai is popular for its skyline & amusing architecture, there are a bunch of places you can visit to capture the beauty of this city. Most of the (hotel) lounges have an outdoor space where you can go to get your pictures, pick & choose as per your preference. Other than the lounges, you can hit places like Dubai Water Canal as well (free admission) which is full of some fantastic looking (small & walk-able) bridges which will amuse any & every photographer. Dubai Fountain (located at Dubai Mall) is stunning to capture as well; all you need to do is, hit the mall and get your camera ready for the fountain show that happens every 20-30 minutes…it’s an absolute treat to watch. Kite Beach is really popular among the photographers too.
Please know that the following areas are going to be absolute treat to any & every kind of lens so brace yourself (keeping all your equipment handy) for click-click-click-click…
