Honoring Creativity

Wondering why I’m writing an entire article on ‘creativity’?

Well, simply to enlighten you with the fact that your creative (visualization) expression skills decide your future.

What is CREATIVITY?

Creativity is a personal thing, to some it’s story-telling whereas to the others it’s singing, dancing & choreographing a play. Creativity is all about using the left side of your brain to be scientific. It not just helps you get in tune with your authentic self but also allows you to use your souls ‘ most innate quality which is ‘being creative’. So, YES, all souls are born creative. The way they express creativity could be a personal preference though. So, moving forward,

a) Never call yourself an uncreative person {simply ‘cos that’s not possible; you can’t take your soul’s innate quality away by just saying it. However, every single time you make this negative affirmation, you are weakening your skill of being creative}.

b) Creatively express yourself  as much as you can!

Express, don’t impress

Like I mentioned earlier, being creative could mean a lot of things. There are a plethora of ways in which one can express himself or herself, some of it being singing, dancing, writing, doodling/drawing, painting, baking, cooking, so on & so forth. I urge you all not to explore these interests without an intention of impressing anyone because the second your intent is all about showing off or proving something, you wither away from the intention of your soul…which is simply to express, to ‘just be’!

Gratitude

Now, let’s come to the crux of it all. The real reason one needs to be in tune with their creative abilities is because ‘being creative’ teaches one to appreciate life for what it is.

This is the space where gratitude stems from. A grateful heart is a magnet to miracles. The moment you start living your life with an attitude of gratitude, you not just sharpen your creative skills but also

‘consciously choose to hold the pen that writes your destiny’.

The Destiny Pen aka Creative Visualization

The reason I enlightened you with the aforementioned universal fact was that many of you really goof up the true meaning of destiny and free will. This is probably because of the myths loitering around as a byproduct of most of the religions.

We all (at a soul level) have already decided the virtues we must learn in this lifetime but the path is not set in stone. We can still do a lot to ease our journey and fill it with oodles of joy. Now, this is where creative visualization comes into action.

If you practice and honor your creativity often, visualizing your dream life won’t be rocket science for you! You can basically attract anything in your reality by first being grateful for the same (in advance) and secondly by visualizing it (creatively like playing a movie of your own in your head)!

When you are grateful for something you wish to have in your life in advance, you simply tell the Creator & the Universe that you are worthy of it and when you do actually have it, you will cherish it.

The one thing you must be mindful of is your ‘intention’. If your intention doesn’t serve the Cosmic Wheel of Life & Growth then no matter what you do, you will not be able to attract a thing.

So, no matter how much your visualize and dream, your intentions should be pure.

Purpose of Life

As mentioned above, creativity is an innate quality of the soul to bring it closer to its authenticity. The more creatively you express yourself, the faster you grow. Also, creative people end up adopting the attitude of gratitude quite easily, cherish nature and its beauty, are able to visualize and dream without any limitations and inhibitions.

So, this is what the purpose of your life is, to creatively express yourself and to become ONE with your authentic self.

Do you still feel you’re not creative enough?

I have made it a point to inculcate creative visualization as a part of life for every single client of mine. I am very conscious, mindful and perhaps borderline pushy when it comes to urging my loved ones to appreciate, cherish and honor their … ‘creative calling’.

Last but not the least, you know your are creatively expressing yourself when you indulge in a task for hours and hours losing track of time *wink* !

Love & Light,

Aakansha
