Feeding You LIES by Vani Hari, the Food Babe || Book Recommendations Series

Dear Readers,

It’s time for book recommendation number 4, Feeding You LIES by Vani Hari aka the Food Babe!!!

The Maven Lifestyle
Vani Hari, the Food Babe

I’ve been following the Food Babe foodbabe.com for over 4 years. I must admit that she’s a hardcore food activist whose mission is to stand up to (food) companies that are adding dangerous (carcinogenic & addictive) ingredients to our foods. She’s been on a mission to protect the entire human race from food comapany’s selfish motives.

The Food Babe is a warrior who has fought companies like Kraft’s Cheese, Starbucks, Subway, etc. to remove harmful ingredients from their foods & beverages. It’s very unfortunate that a diva like her has gotten way too much backlash, threat calls and abuses for calling a spade, A SPADE!

I’m her biggest fan and her transparency, honesty and dedication has educated me to make astronomical changes in my life, as well as my client’s lives.

She has actually managed (with the help of her loyal following) to :->

#1 Subway agreed to remove the “yoga mat material” from their bread because of Vani Hari’s petition

#2 Kraft decided to remove artificial food dyes from their kid’s mac & cheese products as a result of the Food Babe’s petitions.

#3 Starbucks’ famous pumpkin spice latte had caramel colour (known to cause cancer) which the food babe spotted by smartly asking the barista a list of imgredients. Her noise and petition even forced Starbucks to remove this colour from their drink recipe.

And this is not it, she’s done more and more as a result of her passion and hard work.

Now, isn’t it funny that the food companies that we rely on are hiring food scientists to invent food additives that are ADDICTIVE in nature!

Heard of… “no one can eat just one” ???

Have you ever wondered as to … WHY NO ONE CAN EAT JUST ONE?

WELL, IT’S BECAUSE OF ADDICTIVE INGREDIENTS that leave a cocaine like impact in your brain!

How do I know this?

Well, all thanks to Food Babe’s research and transparency. She has, through her books and blog posts, EDUCATED her readers and followers.

This book does exactly that.

If you manage to finish this book with understanding, you will TRANSFORM as a person and become so much aware that your way of looking at processed food will change.

Because of reading food babe’s blog posts and books, I actually don’t consume any processed food and if I ever have to, I check the ingredient list and almost always put that crap back on the shelf because now I know what ingredients are harmful for my body.

Food Babe, Vani Hari is not a woman, she is a movement in her self, she’s a gift to the human race who is awakening many and holds the courage to slap companies that put dangerous ingredients in our foods.

If you’re still not motivated to purchase her book, I AM SHOCKED!

In her book, Feeding you Lies, Vani has spoken about->

^ Brands that are unethical and harmful for us and our children,

^ Food Lies and atrocious steps brands are taking these days to boost sales

^ Calorie Counting and the bull shit behind that

^ Impact of sugar on the human body

^ Consuming pesticides unknowingly

^ Organic Food and it’s value

^ Artificial colouring

^ Natural food colouring that is equally toxic and coming from an animal’s butt

and a lot more!

I cajole you to purchase her book, believe me, you will thank me for this!

Ahhhhhhh this book. The one that sparked a conversation in a random airport lounge that resulted in one hardcore meat lover re-evaluating his ways😉
This is a powerful, eye-opening book that is a next on my radar.

Thank you Rajeev for listening to all the passion-led monologues around Health & Fitness I bombarded your way.
All thanks to those (sometimes, perhaps) annoying monologues, you & I converted a beautiful soul into a proud vegetarian.
