Foodie ALERT!!!
This week on The Maven Lifestyle, we are talking about the most extravagent meal I’ve ever had! I’ve always been a huge fan of Valentine’s Day for the lovey dovey vibe it brings along. Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I convinced the husband to do something a bit ‘extra’ this year 😉 and the next thing I know he’s made a reservation for a 16 COURSE MEAL at the Tresind Studio in Dubai.
My love for healthy eating kept discouraging me to venture into something like this but the foodie in me won the argument. I’d suggest people with a generous apetite and genuine respect for food to try this at least once in their life-time. Tresind Studio had every single portion (or morsel if I may say) really well thought through with a cute backstory.
It has given tribute to the ‘asli Indian khaana’ as we say in Hindi parlance.
By the end of it we were of course full but didn’t feel like our tummy would explode which is quite an achievement for someone with an apetite like mine (really small, btw) plus let’s not forget we had 16 dishes served to us in 3 hours that we sat there.
Once again, I REPEAT, must try at least once in a life-time.
I would (although) urge you to only have extravagent meals like so in a restaurant known for it’s stellar quality and not in one of those ‘cheap fast food ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR xyz amount’ type of eateries.
What struck a chord with me was every single dish was brought to our table by the chef himself where he explained ->
*why that dish was being served,
*what was the inspiration behind it and
*what ingredients were used to prepare the same.
Cute, right? 🙂
Okay, it’s time for some jaw-dropping pics, so without further ado, let’s crack on!

Let me know in the comments below if you’d like to visit Tresind Studio to experience a 16 course meal. Also tell me if you have had a meal like this before (and where).
